Re: Things You Wouldn't Admit Unanon

I also adore G (and am weird and unreasonable about it) so I'm sort of curious about what they did to each other since I apparently don't remember. Just being chippy?

Also, if it makes anyone feel better, Richie did acknowledge that he's still friends with G later on.

Where did he say it? Random interview?

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/sports/flyers/Flyers-Giroux-says-controlling-emotions-will-be-a-key.html

"I have a lot of respect for him; he helped my game a lot when I was younger," Giroux said. "Even when he wasn't on my team, he was helping me (with advice)."

Richards called Giroux a "good friend. I’m not surprised with how he’s blossomed from when I was with him until now. Right from when I started, you could tell he just wanted the puck on his stick, and for a young player that says a lot. You can see it now, but with more confidence and more skill."

Added Richards: "He’s a smaller guy and has a lot of grit to him and plays the game with a lot of emotion. I respect that in him."

Friendship is magic.

Just being chippy, which made me wonder, thanks so much for the quotes! I really tend to not be reasonable when it comes to G.
