This is the twenty-fourth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

I'm going to have to insist that anyone who wants to argue about eyebrows has to post pictures. Either of someone with great brows or, if you're not eyebrow-inclined, a prime example of your facial feature of choice.

For Better or Worse is a comic strip. The dog died at one point. This was very tragic for people who had read the strip since they were kids (unusually, the characters age in somewhat real time in this strip and have for years). It was kind of a controversy about how dare the author kill off such a beloved character (especially since she brought on a new replacement puppy).

I am guessing someone prompted Shea Weber having to comfort his daughter about having read this comic strip, and someone actually wrote them a story.

The announcers go on a lot about whether or not a player has been in a game 7 before or if they've ever been the SCF before. Is there any evidence that that means anything? Or are they just filling time?

Allen nonny is not amused. Stevenson went out after a hit, and it was scary how long he was out. King just went off the ice. Everyone needs to be okay.

Maybe I'm nuts but I think the font or something subtly changed on the NHL app and it's throwing me off enough that it's keeping me from obsessively checking the score. Yay for productivity?

Weird sequence where it looked like there were two pucks on the ice. Turns out a camera lens from one of the rinkside photographers got knocked out and was sitting on the ice.

None of the players seemed confused, but I was!

I am still sad that a ref!Ovi/player!Nicky fic never materialized after that interview where Ovi said he wanted to be a ref if he couldn't be a hockey player. Imagine Nicky always going mean Lars when Ovi is reffing because he enjoys the attention! For ref/player interactions, I also enjoy this gif a lot.
