Matt's like the anti yenta sibling- very aware and very wary of all his brother(...s?) get up to.

clearly their new mascot is kevin spacey.

but real talk, they can stop stalling any minute now. a new jersey ain't that big a deal.

Oh my god, these are legitimately some of the ugliest jerseys I've ever seen.

Meh, what's with that arm patch?

It cracks me up they're all dressed up though lol.

All it needs is a few ads!

If you don't want to hear from these people on your TL, don't follow them.

I'm meh about the logo/crest thing, but I like the broad horizontal stripes. I think overall I might like these better than their previous ones, and I liked those pretty well.

Idk, I don't even really like him and actually giggled lots when he did poorly earlier in the season, but watching him this series has been a real treat /:

Re: Fandom Goggles

I know my fandom googles are permanently on at this point but I've been trying to figure out what he could possibly mean other than implying/joking about how they hook up and I just can't.

Re: Fandom Venting

This is the most unoriginal, boring response in the fandom venting thread. If you have no response to your fave being criticized other than "unfollow everybody", don't bother to leave a comment.

The big white stripe and the red/white striped socks makes them look like Team Waldo.

Re: Fandom Venting

My sympathies for someone choosing to follow people who annoy them: nil. My sympathies for them coming to the venting thread to complain about it: also nil.

I need a team to finally be a bit creative with colours, too much red.

Especially because it's like, what, the third similar vent in three days? Hate the guy all you want, no need to punish meme for your poor twitter following decisions.

Re: What's Up With Your Team - Third Round and Counting

Got to say that is ugly.

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
your fave being criticized

That's an extremely generous way to describe a vent that basically boils down to being mad that a star player who is very popular and playing very well in the SCF is going to have people saying nice things about him. Also newsflash people's twitter timelines are comprised of content from people they have voluntarily chosen to follow. It's like sticking your hand in an oven and complaining that it's hot.

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
There are tons of reasons why somebody might continue to follow someone who occasionally talks about Crosby. In my experience, somebody making one tweet isn't enough reason to unfollow but many singular tweets from many people at once is annoying. I think it's stupid that "uh why don't u just unfollow??" is the automatic response to these comments when clearly it's not happening since people keep venting about the same thing. We all know how websites work and where the unfollow button is.

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
This is something I will never understand. Mute, unfollow, blacklist tags or whatever, it makes for such a much more enjoyable experience than subjecting yourself to content wich annoys you for whatever reason, especially if it's stuff like a hockey player doing well.

Yes, it is annoying. I can understand there being reasons to not unfollow (but you can surely mute someone temporarily can't you), but if you've chosen not to extricate yourself from an annoying situation, why do you need to then go and annoy everyone else about it?

Re: Fandom Venting

ayrt
I didn't make the OP comment so I don't know what to tell ya ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just think suggesting people unfollow like it's a brand new idea that hadn't occurred to them is silly, and it's not going to stop people from venting about stuff they don't like on their TL or dash. because it hasn't, so far.

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
Why haven't you extricated yourself from an annoying situation and scrolled by? Why do you need to go and "annoy everyone else" with unnecessary advice?

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
Oh come on. Coming from a person who likes Crosby, this is just disingenuous. He's famous and well-liked enough that even people with other primary teams are occasionally going to say positive things about him when he does something super noteworthy, and this deep into the SCF a lot of people whose primary teams are out of the running are going to be rooting for either the Sharks or the Pens to win, so a bunch of people who would normally not be talking about Crosby are probably gonna mention him in the next week or two. It's totally fair to be annoyed if you really have a hate-on for someone on one of the two final teams, because they're going to end up plastered all over your dash/timeline no matter how hard you try to prevent it. That's what venting threads are for.

Re: Fandom Venting

From: (Anonymous)
Because unlike on twitter, there is not a tool you can use on meme to selectively mute the people who are annoying you so that you won't see their content in the future? And because saying something about being annoyed in response to what's annoying has at least a hope and a prayer of making it stop or slow down, whereas complaining on meme about people you follow on twitter talking about Crosby is not gonna make people you follow on twitter talk about Crosby any less?
