Maybe they had hit their Johnson limit. They already had two. Three was one Johnson too many.*

*Am I talking about World Cup hockey or a writer trying to choreograph their sex scenes? Who knows?

And it's time for Round 3! We're getting down to the nitty gritty, so expect some tough matchups. (Case in point: Carey Price vs. Zach Bogosian--how do you choose just one?!)

SA Aaaand I messed up the round number on the header, so I will be fixing that, lol. Feel free to go ahead and vote, though.

He's from Eastern Canada so there's a decent enough chance he'd vote Liberal as opposed to Conservative. MacKinnon likes Trudeau IIRC from some of his old tweets so it's not too far outside of the realm of possibility.

I hope you're not even trying to claim that other teams'fans aren't talking about their team "deserving to win". That's like sports fan ABC.

I think it's safe to say they're not claiming that, based on the comments directly upthread.

Enh, it could use a beta, but it's readable iddy fun and I've enjoyed the chapters I've read so far. But then I've also read and not disliked schizzar's stuff and select portions of icehot's oeuvre, so that should give you some indication of my threshold for idtastic enjoyment.

No,if you watch it on YouTube it's about 3:50 in and starts "if you think of the edge of the world". I can't find it anywhere!

I liked it a lot at first. It started out funny, and I don't really turn to Tyler Seguin fic if I'm in the mood for complex inner monologues anyway. Also, insecurity and self-esteem issues are my usually my jam. But the way it was presented here was just OTT juvenile and self-centered, even if you assume Seguin is a particularly immature 24-year old. The kind of insecurity about his place on the team that was in the fic might work for his first season on the team when he's still new (though it'd still come across as kind of middle-schoolish). But there's no way he doesn't know how valuable he is as a hockey player now. I can believe in a Seguin who thinks he's not good enough for the object of his affections; I can't believe in one who thinks he's going to get traded any day.

I also found the PR stuff pretty unbelievable. I just don't believe that what PR staff teams have working for them have the power to pull players into their offices and lecture them, much less sign them up for multiple press "courses."

When you factor in the Pens retaining salary,a lot of people thought it was a wash as a trade. I don't think anyone predicted just how Daley would blossom with the Pens.

And they're a perennial playoffs team despite those injuries. I don't care what anyone says, "Penguins have been astonishingly successful when you factor in their injuries" is my hill.

I'm like "Faulk and Josi are pretty evenly matched." when I was voting. Check the results and they were 50/50. So yes, very evenly matched.

I feel like Hilary Knight is a ringer. There's just no way any dude could beat the utter perfection of her ~~face~~ brows.

I thought by the time I casted my vote, someone would have a lead. But no, my vote was a tying one too! Still 50/50, excited to see who proceeds there.

Hah, my vote actually gave Faulk the lead (by 1), I felt very important there. :D

I know next to nothing about Zach Bogosian, but I want fic with him now because I find his face captivating. And someone with eyebrows that nice deserves to get fucked.

I probably don't know you, anon, but I appreciate your priorities.
