If you do watch, skip to the episodes that actually happen during the season.

Taylor Winnik and her friendship with Martine Forget almost make up for thirteen episodes of Maripier's "storyline" never really going anywhere. But because she's basically the main character, while you might go a couple episodes without Kodette LaBarbera, Paige Getzlaf or Angela Price (Or basically anyone who isn't Taylor, Martine or Maripier.) she's in every. single. episode.

I don't want to spoil it in case you do end up watching but the final episode of season two has the most aggravating "MP's and Brandon Prust's relationship seems kind of fucked up" moment of the season.

(Basically, there are some really good moments but if you're already tired of MP, probably not something you want to watch.)

nonnie, please spoil me for the mp/prust stuff.

They kind of gloss over it, but when he was sent down to Utica and then wasn't picked up by any team at the trade deadline he felt "rejected" and took it out on MP. Like, verbally. MP says he said some "hurtful" things to her,and that he blamed her, but she doesn't elaborate.

She reveals this in one of the interview things that they show, while their at his house in London discussing the wedding/his training/next season and she's also like "OMG He's finally talking to me about how he's feeling!!!" and you're just kind of left sitting there like "He should of done that before he blamed you for shit that is not your fault??? This isn't healthy at all!!"

At least once an episode I end up yelling "JUST DUMP HIM" at MP through my computer screen. I wish she'd listen to me.

Yikes. How on earth could he find a way to blame that on her? :/ And not great either that they don't really seem to talk...

Summed it up to another nonnie above, but basically he wasn't happy when he was sent down and then wasn't traded at the deadline and he took it out on MP. Like, she literally says he blamed her and said some hurtful things to her.

He must be incredible in bed. Because I cannot figure out why else she would stay with him.

(Is it the hockey player thing? Like she's pretty hot. She could probably chase a jersey that isn't such an dick I feel like ...)

yo, hot or not, she doesn't deserve to be treated like crap. If he's a shitbag to her, she deserves someone who treats her better. Full stop.

Oh I absolutely agree. I just can't help wondering what's keeping her with him.

Hard to say from the outside. Love, habit, money, status, phenomenal oral skills. Your guess is as good as mine. He sounds like a tool, though. Bad times are when you should lean on your partner for support. If his instinct is to blame her then hopefully she gets herself the hell out of there.
