Matt's like the anti yenta sibling- very aware and very wary of all his brother(...s?) get up to.

Now I want the fic where someone plays the yenta and immediately fucking regrets it once their matchmaking is successful. For any pairing, but it would especially work for Strome/Marner.

I feel like this could be a fun story where you never actually see Dylan or Mitch. The entire structure of the story is just Matt drunkenly and angrily ranting about it to his completely disinterested road roommate and the reader has to gather what actually happened from that.

I know my fandom googles are permanently on at this point but I've been trying to figure out what he could possibly mean other than implying/joking about how they hook up and I just can't.

I'm not really sure there is another way to take that.

You can have overnight guests you don't have sex with. Still having slumber parties/sleepovers once you're an adult, though, can be viewed as kind of cute and the kind of thing an older brother would tease you for.

I was talking about the "get a room"/ separate rooms part, not the sleepovers. And Matt Strome is younger than Dylan.

lol@ at Strome asking for Laine. Low-key staning that Strome's been thirsty for Laine since the World Juniors in Finland, but the was too chickenshit to make a move, and/or he could never get a moment alone with Laine- so he's not about too pass up the opportunity now (uh, there's been a couple fic where it's Strome's misson to sleep with as many guys as possible, right?).
