When you're on tumblr and looking at the page of people you follow, the upper right corner has the userpics of the people you reblog most and if you mouse over it you can get their name. What does it mean when you mouse over it and their name no longer pops up? Is that deleted journals or journals who have blocked you?

if you actually click you'll probably find out if they've deleted, other than that idk.

also they're called blogs, not journals lol.

I wish they were called tumbles. Because really. They mostly aren't actual blogs.

I usually do call it "my tumblr" because calling it "my blog" when it's just a bunch of nonsense that I reblog is a bit pretentious in my mind.

You can't click on them, so that's no help.

You know that blog is just short for web log, right? Log and journal mean the same thing, yo.

Journal is specifically an lj thing in my mind and it makes you sound lost.

I can click on all of mine so if you can't I'm guessing they deleted.

It doesn't make anyone sound lost.

It kinda does. Journal = much more text based and archived posts that are accessible. Not only lj, but insanejournal, journalfen, dreamwidth now...

I'm pretty sure journals existed before lj.

I never said they didn't. Hence the "in my mind".

Trying to get Classic fandom people to let go of their outdated terminology is a losing battle.

Classic fandom comes in zines. Anything else is just newfangled.

This may be the most tedious wank on meme, and that's a high bar.

Needs about 200 more comments to even come close.

Nothing will ever top face blindness wank for me.
