#24 – Not Sure If Serious or Playing Dumba

This is the twenty-fourth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Have you read the thread? People literally said it wasn't "genuinely sad" and that people who were sad could cry a river because Dupuis is old and has a cup. If OP is sick of hearing it they should mute or unfollow those Pens fans on Twitter.

I did read the thread, and saw plenty of people acknowledging that it was sad for Pens fans. I don't think you understand that it's not just OP who is tired of this. I don't even have a twitter, I avoid Pens fans on tumblr and I still feel like exposure limit to "IS ANYBODY ELSE EMO BECAUSE OF DUPUIS" is maxed out. I'm sorry if you feel like people are being dismissive but I think venting in the venting thread about it is legitimate.

I was the anon who was totally on board with the venting about Pens fans until the follow up comment about Dupuis. If you go out of your way to avoid it, I'm sorry that it's still annoying you, but OP chooses to follow Pens fans on twitter and then complains when those fans are sad about a fan fave whose sob story is currently all over Pens media and mainstream media too since the Pens are about to play the SCF? That's peak "Dead Dove Do Not Eat." There are a thousand things to be vented about wrt Pens fans and none of them require callous comments about a guy who risked his life to play hockey (and the first few comments were all incredibly callous and lacking empathy).

I didn't want to complain because I'm sick of talking about the Pens, but this thread was very QED about that, yeah...
