one guy on the Wild whose name I cannot remember but I assure you, I hate him

I'm going through the roster trying to imagine which of them inspires strong feelings and coming up blank so far

That's one that stuck out, but I thought he was mostly disliked by Minnesota fans? Only other one I could think of was Vanek.

How about Dumba55?

Do people hate Dumba? He's not really a borderline player afaik and he's not a pest. Most of the fans of other Central teams I've seen seem to be vaguely fond to indifferent about him.

He seems to board a member of my team every time we play them, so fans of my team do not like him as a rule. I'm surprised you haven't seen it.

The dislike, not the boarding. That's pretty subjective.

He's never boarded anyone on my team, and we're in the Central. I've seen a bit of low-key hate for the team in general, because someone on my team seems to get hurt almost every time we play them, but nothing against him specifically.

As a fan of a central team, I'm pretty indifferent to Dumba.

Maybe they're a Preds fan who doesn't like homewrecker Parise?

I'm thinking now it's Haula bc he seems to destroy my team and so I hate him.

And he is a former Gopher, so the feeling of hatred is completely reasonable

I irrationally enjoy Haula because in a preseason game once he scored against the Pens and one of the Pens twitters posted the terrible "holla holla we dem boyz" song and it always makes me laugh now.

This is perhaps the oddest reason to enjoy a hockey player. But meh. I'll own it.

Out of curiosity, what would fit "oddest reason" criteria?

As a Minnesota fan this one is kind of hilarious to me, because Haula is one of those players who turns it on for a few months and then disappears almost entirely for the next three.
