Their shape was superb, but the thickness... it left something to be desired.

I refused to vote for him because I am petty and still sad that Sceviour will not be the champion of this bracket. So.

If I am unexpectedly and irrationally fond of Justin Faulk after this, it will be all your fault. Something about his smiley mug shot makes me very happy.

OP I'll happily take the blame on that one! That picture of him is indeed pretty great.

He looks a bit more murder-y in his Team USA headshot, in case you want something to off-set things for you:

That is not great, and yet still so much better a Team USA photo than Phil Kessel got. Wow, his hair, though. That is some lustrous, well-maintained flow.

AYRT Poor Kessel's photo is in a league of its own. So, so awkward. I feel like Faulk would be a strong contender for league's best flow.

Carl Hagelin has that one locked up. Even between periods or directly after a game, his hair looks like he just stepped out of a salon.

As someone who generally looks like she's been pulled backward through a hedge about five seconds after leaving the house, I can only conclude he's some kind of wizard.

I wouldn't be so sure. The Eyebrow People™ who I thought were gonna win/go far for sure were out pretty early. Deke is just full of surprises.

As the anon who nominated him in the first place, I was so thrilled when I saw he was still in it. <3

He's very smiley all the time (when not being all murder eyes). Besides he awesome flow, he also has a very nice hockey butt. His reaction to almost hitting Braden Holtby with a slapshot when Holtby's mask came off was great and he just seems like an all around good dude.

There are worse players you could pick to be irrationally fond of is all I'm saying. :D

Nonny, I haven't been on deke in probably almost a month? (Since whenever my teams were eliminated and I was heartbroken I started watching basketball and women's soccer instead.) But I am SO glad that you followed through with this and it is a thing! Glad I get to vote in the final rounds! Major kudos to you for taking the time to do this!
