If you're sick of seeing joyful Pens shit in a neutral space, avoid the space or try to counterbalance it by prompting other things. Asking someone to hijack their prompts out of spite (when they've clearly specified that those are prompts about their team) makes you much more annoying and asshole-ish than fans prompting things relating to their team's success like fans of most other teams would do in the same situation. It's not even funny like the Jamie/Tyler example, unless idk you wanna write a fill about BIC pens are something.

It seems like your actual problem isn't obnoxious Pens fans, then, it's your inability to be an adult on the internet.

+1 If you want more non-Pens things on the kinkmeme, go prompt and fill non-Pens things. This is not a hard concept.

Seriously, they even had a great idea that I'm sure plenty of people would be interested in filling or reading. Just go and fucking prompt it if that's what you wanna see, instead of acting like an asshole and a child, it's not fucking rocket science.

God, yes. Nothing is stopping you from prompting or filling. Yes, the influx of Pens prompts may be annoying but it'll die down in a couple of weeks and it probably would have been similar for any team that won (or, you know, sad Pens prompts if they had lost the Cup).

Go and prompt Thorton/Marleau Cup loss sex, or Lucic having blackmail material on Lombardi, or the Habs using black magic to get rid of Therrien, or more Shattenkirk/Taransenko before he gets traded this summer, or Ovechkin/Backstrom tentacle fic.

I get wanting to vent but this is getting a little beyond - go and do something a little more fandomly constructive?

I mean, I thought the Sharks vets spite jerking off on the cup was a good prompt, too! Just not as a fill for someone whose prompt is unambiguously not asking for that...

It is! But yeah, it would be a dick move to give that fill to someone looking for a Pens fill. It would be like if I filled the Martin Jones/Any with a fill that had Martin Jones/Penguins player with the endgame being sad!Jones and Penguins player/Penguins player. Like I would be filling the letter of the prompt but not the spirit of it?

Yeah, except this case would be neither the letter nor the spirit. The prompt is 100% explicit about what it wants, so it wouldn't even be clever asshole-ry, just regular old asshole-ry.

I want all the Blues fic simply because of that series. Now I'm no longer a Hawks fan, I can let my growing like for the Blues run wild.

You're putting words in my mouth if you think I said anything about the Sin Bin being soiled forever or untraversable because of the Pens prompts. I saw one prompt that was vague enough that it reminded me of this original thread. I don't get what's "beyond" about implying something's annoying and you wouldn't mind seeing the complete opposite (which, hey, isn't actually going to happen! because it was a fucking joke! shocker!), and then not apologizing when a fan of that original something comes knocking at your door, but I'm still not going to feel bad about a fan of a cup-winning team being blown out of the water by some rando who doesn't care about seeing their shit. After all this time.

Okay, it took me a little while to make sense of this comment but that could be because it's two in the morning.

Are you the person who kept saying 'nah' or the person who suggested who wanted the Sharks spite fill or the one who said they were salty about the increase of Pens prompts? You're going to be a little more specific.

I didn't say anything about you thinking the sinbin is soiled forever. I was a little annoyed you came here to vent and had a whole long conversation (unless you just left the one comment in which case I apologise) without actually doing something to rectify it.

Wow, someone didn't get a joke on the internet? It's almost like when something is in type, it's hard to tell the mood or intention of the person writing it. /sarcasm
