Watching France's Euro football games is making me thinking about Giroux a lot because of obvious name similarities, so I'm very in favour of someone filling Giroud/Giroux. If only I knew more bout Giroud I'd maybe attempt it myself...

I know quite a few football nonnies on FFA who are in the opposite boat of not knowing enough about hockey to pull it off! Maybe it'll finally happen this time around.

Giroud/Giroux is actually pretty popular (for a random obscure crossover pairing that sprang into existence via accidental typo)-- it's been steadily requested in ship exchanges for nearly a year now.

It just seems like a pairing with a lot of potential, lol, and sports crossover ships are precious to me anyway!

I would know enough about football in general (I probably know more about football than hockey) just not enough about Giroud as a person. I suppose I could google some things... Or maybe we should open a think tank on FFA, lol!

I'm an Arsenal supporter and as such am relatively fond of Giroud. What do you want to know?

I know nothing about him except that he plays for France, lol. (Not into any "foreign" (to me) leagues, not even really into my own country's! :x) So anything important really? Maybe character things that wouldn't be on Wikipedia? Or if you know any fun videos, I'm always down for those, lol. :)

Giroud is a very vocal LGBT ally. So is Arsenal as a club in general, but Giroud's affiliation dates back to when he was still at Montpellier in Ligue 1. He's posed nude/semi-nude for charity calendar and for a French gay magazine before. I bet Giroud would like his butt.

He's generally known as a very accommodating and easygoing teammate (which no doubt is a major factor in Giroud's selection for France even if not on top form...what with Benzema blackmailing teammates over sex tapes), and he enjoys bromances with a number of different players.

Grrrh I can't seem to find a link to an adorable Giroud/Wilshere goal celebration which went absolutely viral and literally got half a million notes on tumblr because they were nuzzling and being so affectionate that clueless non-football fans literally thought it was them coming out.

It's still a cute idea, though. Maybe PEB can randomly text him pics from French gay mags this summer instead. It's the internet, shit keeps circulating forever and popping up on people's feeds at the weirdest times. He can caption each one with some variation of "I saw this and thought of you."

I love the idea of him texting "this reminded me of u" until Giroux just gets to damn curious lol.
