I like the Starbucks on Mockingbird better but that's because I like to feel better about walking the 10 minutes to grab my sugary monstrosity.

I KNOW, RIGHT? Did you see that moment in the second quarter where Liberty had the ball right after we scored? Fuck, that was stressful until the ref said it wasn't good.

That's precisely why I have a love/hate relationship with the one in Dedman. Because if I'm in there I'm either about to work out or have just finished doing so...and it's right there, tempting me.

Yeah, payoff/aftermath is one of the main draws of angst in fic for me, but a lot of fics in this fandom just kind of skip it.

At some point in the spring some guy posted a comment on Ali's instagram about how she used to hook up with Jamie Benn and a few other guys. She made her Instagram private about that time. She's also dated a few other pro athletes. (She probably did hook up with Jamie because he is apparently just as bad as Tyler but quieter about it and it's not strange for teammates to "share" girls, apparently? And I would assume if it was true both Tyler and Jamie's gf knew about it because Katie and Ali have been on each other's instas since then.)

Tyler seems to be friends with her family though. I know he's besties with her brother and was at her birthday party the night before last. Some girls on a message board ferreted him out and found a pic some friends of Ali's posted with him in it. And I guess they follow Ali's brother on snapchat and he's who Tyler has been golfing with and hanging out with in his new house since he moved back to Dallas.

Kari/Nemo is one of my two pet rarepairs (the other being Klingberg/Nemeth) but I'm not the nonnie with your email -- the world remains big for the moment. Maybe. (I don't know what your fic is about but more Kari/Nemo in the world is an excellent thing, you've got this!!)

I have read too many of these to think the author will go much further with explanation than letting Jamie's magical dick cure everything. Maybe we will get some explanation about Tyler's mom giving her kids wolfsbane nosespray or something, but I doubt it. I feel like he'll just heal himself with a come injection and start making wolf babies.

Or we'll find out he's not a wolf but an omega human.

Nonnie, I also ship Klinger/Nemo, so I probably am one of the few nonnies shipping this. Fuck, would you like to talk about how Klingberg flew to the DR to go to Patrik's destination wedding?

They're really great together! I was also :/ because all we got at the time was a very cryptic tweet about an island on Nemeth's twitter, and now it turns out he got married then.

But imagine Klingberg getting burned. Or that could have been the real life "three things I get to have with me on a island, one of which is John Klingberg", and I am still feeling so warm inside.

People already want to pencil Klinger next to Lindell or Honka but I am just ... They play great together! It's not Nemo's fault his shitty injury history has put him a half step behind where he needs to be to be the defensive dman Klinger needs at his back but they're young, he just needs to play with him just a little more

I didn't even put the pieces together about the cryptic island tweet and the fact that, you know, he and his wife had a destination wedding. That dude's entire (public) social media presence is weird as shit, tbh. But then again, I didn't even realize he and his girlfriend were that serious (I would've been a lot less surprised had it been Klinger with the destination wedding this season. Speaking of, have you seen the picture on Janmark's instagram with his "Dallas family"??)

But I refuse to believe Klingberg didn't get burned. He probably looked out the window and burned to a crisp. I hope the John Klingberg as one of three things needed on a desert island meme continues this season, however, as it is delightful.

People just have short memories and it's annoying...the way most people feel about Stephen Johns now is how we all felt about Nemeth two years ago before his arm almost got cut off tbh. But their play complements one another perfectly and I'm not sure how 95% of the fanbase ignores that
