Why does the commentator keep saying Zuccarello in such a strange accent? It's annoying.

Yep Lundqvist still looks bad.

I don't even like Clark MacArthur but if someone ended his career with a stupid hit during training camp I'll be pissed.

sa

Dammit. Clarke.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

Especially when the Sens had apparently been warned about this guy in advance?

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

I think the problem is more that guys like Sieloff have been taught this is how you make the roster rather than any particular defect with Sieloff himself.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
Yeah, and if the Sens were told about that aspect of his play in advance, it was probably part of why they wanted him in the first place. And he knew that.

Fingers crossed! But either way I think these last five minutes are going to be really exciting.

Where did you hear that? I thought he was just the scraps they got in return for a salary dump on Chasson, not expected to make the team or be seriously on anyone's radar. He's fringe even for AHL.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
Yeah, it was a very borderline hit from the video, but it was a hit I think you'd see in an NHL game.

The Sens letting three roster players go after him is gross, too.

NA

He used to be more of a legit prospect. He got a staph infection in juniors that apparently nearly killed him and delayed his development.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
The announcers in the EUR-SWE game were talking about it and said he did the same thing once before in Calgary and they had told them.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
HockeyFights says he has one NHL preseason fight, from 2014/15, and the other guy got the instigator and misconduct.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
If that's true, then I have zero sympathy if this derails his career. Bad enough to be making dirty plays that injure, but to do it to your own teammates twice? GTFO.

Fights aren't the same thing as shitty hits.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
I don't see how it matters who you do it to.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
I'm leery to believe that without a better source.

Is this it?

This makes me kind of befuddled to be honest. If a player is intentionally going after teammates, isn't the best approach to not invite him to the camp rather than warning everyone else to be careful?

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
No, but guys who make a habit of shitty hits tend to end up in fights.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

From: (Anonymous)
Hmm, that sounds like Calgary warned their own players, not Ottawa.

Also, I agree with you. This is something you train a guy out of, not put the onus on others to avoid.

Europe yesss! Look how happy they are! I'm so, so happy, too!! :')

I loved when they all started jumping up and down together!!! So cute.

Really glad Europe won, good to feel good about something in sports today after the Fernandez news.

Re: What's up with Your Team: Camp, Camp, Camp

Well, it's shitty to steal someone's money, but it's shittier if you do it to a friend who invited you over for a beer.

Holy shit. I didn't even realise what had happened at first, that last play was such a mess. I'm so pleased for them.
