#26 — Vanek! with a Jurco

This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

3. Respect flock. Do not repost or share information from private tumblrs, locked twitter accounts, flocked LJ posts, etc.
4. No linking fans to their real life identities.
5. No looks bashing or body shaming. This applies to players and people associated with those players and their clubs, as well as fellow fans.

8. No spamming the meme, whether through repeated comments or other means. 
9. No discussing trolling, individual trolls, or their efforts.

Stromecest should be called Stromance. Or at least a subdivision for Stromance.

As much as I love fic with Bad Man Ryan Strome (and boy howdy, do I), I also want more Stromance fic that's also not shy about how messed up that would be.

Adding one more day to give stragglers or last-minute participants the full weekend to write. Collection will go live on August 8 instead. Remember there's no minimum word count!

Just checked AO3 for the day. AO3 Savior ate all but three fics off of the first page. Yikes.

I was watching an episode of Hockey Central at Noon from a couple of months ago, and they mentioned that one team (they didn't say which team, but I think from the context it was the Ducks) used to play a "game" called Touch Randy where the loser (things like being the worst in that day's practice drill) had to pay a forfeit of finding a way to touch Randy Carlyle by the next morning. (Because Carlyle hates being touched.)

"Well, now there's a little fire.", "Out of play, out of competition" and... "The Thing About Teammates" before it got bumped to the second page. So two, now.

I blacklist with extreme prejudice. Sometimes I think it's excessive. Turning it off for a few seconds usually dissuades me of that notion.

I figured for the Schizzar fic, certain chaptered ones by not great people, and the obvious pairing, but that did still leave a few more than 3. It's true though, can't say you're wrong to blacklist all that.

TBF, I have some attention issues that make cutting down on clutter pretty essential. I wouldn't mind Schizzar knowing I'm actively not a fan of their writing, but others just post things that are consistently not for me or otherwise confuse my attempts at organization and end up on the blacklist.
