Seems like Hockey would be a good fandom for it, obviously there is Crosby/Giroux but are there any other good examples?

Bolland for salary and Crause because apparently they're collecting young, talented players??

(Also I might be completely out of because neither the Leafs or the Panthers are my team but I wasn't aware that Bolland is hurt in a may-never-play-again kind of way??? I saw a couple of tweets today doubting that he'll ever play an actual game for the coyotes.)

They don't need it to reach the cap floor, but clearly they don't feel like they need the space, and Lawson Crouse at 11th overall for a second and an extra 3rd round pick seems like a pretty good deal for Arizona.

Datsyuk is only for a year, Bolland is for three. They might not have needed it but it's probably not going to hurt them too bad since their young stars don't get their big boy contracts for a couple more years.

I didn't know about Bolland's injury, but I thought Crouse was considered overrated because he's big and gritty.

This isn't much a vent but I'm happy deke is starting to pick back up again (knock of wood) because I briefly checked out FFA out of sheer boredom and that place is a goddamn mess, oh my god. Never going to be able to take people bemoaning how awful this meme is seriously again.

Oh geez nonnies. None of you told me that Mike Harrington was so Mad Online™ about Jimmy Vesey that he wrote possibly the most glorious piece of trash ever to be "published" in a newspaper.

Please enjoy the part where he continually refers to Vesey as "property," accuses basically the entire NHL of tampering and appears to be somewhat confused on the difference between tampering and this newfangled thing called "scouting" and uses the phrase "not cool" like he's hip with the kids these days.

I hate Harrington as much as anyone, but hasn't the phrase "not cool" been around for at least a couple of decades now? I'm not sure it's an example of trying to talk like the kids.
