This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

I'd at least wait until the World Cup of Hockey to declare Commish!Nonny AWOL. She might just not be around meme right now, because hockey news is kind of slow.

Lundqvist is a notoriously slow starters the the beginning of seasons, though. In a tournament he might not have a chance to get his ice legs under him.

I have their contact info from last year and will ask them sometime this week what their plans are. They might be busy or away from meme, on account of it being a long, slow summer.

I want them to have a cool jersey so bad, because I would definitely spend money on a Las Vegas hockey shirt just for the novelty. But I think I saw they're going with silver and black so it's probably going to be a boring kings knockoff.

Canada still has Holtby and Crawford. Lundqvist might generally be better than both, but I wouldn't say it's a concern if Price isn't ready. They would just have to recognize it and switch before they doom themselves.

The teams are pretty close though overall.

My pipe dream is them using some kind of sand color with a bright accent like a neon green. I just want a new color scheme in this league. Plus I like the mix of the desert-y vibe mixed with a pop of Vegas pizzaz.

Would anyone be willing to look over a rarepairs fic for me. It's 4k Rangers pairing. At this point I am looking for a second pair of eyes to comment on the structure, flow and check it is working. I will need a SPaG review later though.

For some reason Taylor Hall describing himself as "a shy guy by nature" is so interesting to me, and something I really wouldn't have expected to hear from him in the past. I really appreciate that he's being fairly honest and straight-forward in interviews post trade, and I hope some of this public angst/self-reflection results in some good fic that isn't totally focused on how much he misses Jordan Eberle, tbqh.

Yay, Sid/Claude longfic! I'm a few thousand words in, and it's good so far. Though I feel like I can tell it's a collab. I've never tried writing with another fandom friend. I'd worry about the differences in voice, and I just don't think I'd be able to relinquish control like that.

But, if they can pull it off, I will be Impressed.

I don't have an opinion on your actual comment but asking for meme to not be wanky in response to your pretty mild disagreement is just annoying,tbh.
