Not a big fan of Byfuglien, but I rather him that Jack Johnson. Seeing some of these decisions it makes me realize I hate most of the Head Coaches for this tournament.

It's so distracting. On the one hand, I want them to correct the color & contrast so it's not so obviously CGI. On the other hand, this is some real /r/conspiracy-level technology, yo.

Yeah, they are. And that line who scored looked good in the second North America pre-season game too, so maybe it's a coincidence, but I can't help but wonder if it was a good idea to choose Quick to start when he's the only one who has two teammates on that team. Three if you count Ehrhoff. I suppose that can cut both ways, but it seems like they'll know his tendencies.

I don't like this thing ESPN is doing of flicking briefly over to SoG where the score is. It's fine if they don't want it on the screen all the time, but they can put it next to or underneath the score, not replace it.

I was already not rooting for Team USA but benching Byfuglien was too far and I'm glad they're getting blown out right now. I don't know what Torts is thinking.

I was annoyed by the whole concept of Team Europe but somehow I can't resist watching and cheering for my guys. I'm watching a US stream and enjoying how mad they were about that goal being overturned.

I bought Playstation Vue, and the fact that I don't have to hunt for an illegal stream is nice, but being about 30 seconds behind live is getting really annoying, really fast.

You know, I never in my life heard anyone call Minnesota "Minny" before I started watching hockey, and I grew up in Wisconsin and both my parents grew up in Minnesota and I spent almost all my summers there. It's like calling it "Minny" is a bizarre hockey-only marker of "person not from Minnesota".
