Kevin Hayes and Johnny Gaudrea are hanging out while they are both at BC for some charity thing.

Johnny's actually spending the whole summer at BC, he's taking summer classes and skating in the Foxboro Pro League, etc.

They're both skating in that league. I think they're on the same team.

Yeah, that's true, I just felt the need to correct OP a bit since neither of them were at BC for the purpose of the attending the charity thing, since they're both around all summer anyways (and hanging out, since they're BFFS).

The charity thing was probably the Comm Ave Charity Classic, to save anyone the extra google search.

"The game’s proceeds will once again benefit two extraordinary nonprofits, Compassionate Care ALS, which supports people with the fatal neuromuscular disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and the Travis Roy Foundation, dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with spinal cord injuries. The foundation was established by Roy (COM’00, Hon.’16) after he crashed into the boards and was paralyzed during his first game as a Terrier in October 1996."

I was at this game, KHayes had a breakaway in the last minute and basically stopped and waited for Johnny to catch up to him so he could pass to him and get him a hat trick. It was actually very, very cute. The score was 13-8, which makes the hatty somewhat less impressive but it was still nice of him lmao.

lol, I actually had a great time. They were all clearly having fun, beer was $5, and it was for a good cause. I would recommend it to any/all Boston area nonnies.
