Re: Women's Hockey

From: (Anonymous)
That reminds me, are any nonnies buying season tickets for their local NWHL team (if they have one ofc). I'm kind of on the fence because I want to give them all my money but I'm not sure how many games I'll actually be able to go to. My friend that I went with last year has a new job and isn't free on weekends very much, and the new location for the Pride is more out of the way for me... I feel like I'm coming up with excuses but I just don't want to buy the season tickets and then not go to the games. But I want to support them!!

I want to buy season tickets, but I'm also hoping to move to a new city sometime in the middle of the season, so I'm holding off. Also the added parking/public transit fees that come with the new Riveters location (plus their tickets being the most expensive), have kind of soured me.

I don't live anywhere near the team I support but I seriously considered buying tickets last year anyway. I'm a ticket holder for an NHL team, though, and I spend beaucoups of money on hockey tickets in general, so tossing a couple of hundred dollars at them for season tickets I won't use as support isn't really a big deal to me.

I live nowhere near a team and I bought a season ticket to my favorite team last year just as a show of support; only used one of them when I flew in for a game, but felt good about the purchase anyway.
