Easy as pie, Aaron Ekblad/Megan Mitchell/Willie Mitchell http://archiveofourown.org/works/7557127

It's a bit heavy on the pining, confused puppy Ekblad trope, but I liked it.

Who on earth thinks Megan should be an accountant and not a baker in a bakery AU? Or that a struggling bakery owner should hire an accountant before a baking assistant or front of shop person, or at all, for that matter? If people insist on writing dumb AUs they should at least have them make sense >:(

Without having read the fic and probably missing a point or two, if you struggle financially an accountant can get your finances in order and point out where you're loosing money and maybe help you change that. If you're struggling with time management, maybe as a baker you don't want to do all the paperwork and prefer to be in your shop and/or baking?

I have no intention of touching this fic, but I imagine it would depend on what exactly th accountant would do. A fully in-house employee? Hell no. A CPA who has multiple other clients who can help small business owners? Sure.

AYRT

TBH I didn't even think about a full time, in house employee when I heard accountant and bakery. That would really be too much.
