From: (Anonymous)Also I was watching Stephen A Smith talk about Torts and the anthem thing and he said if players representing the National team want to kneel, they should, because representing the US is not a private interest like representing your NHL team (or any national league sports team), so it should be allowed...but seeing as this whole tournament is organised by the NHL for NHL interests, it pretty much is a private interest thing, right?

For me this is a difficult line to try to draw because isn't every national tournament some kind of private interest thing when it comes down to it? It's not like the IOC runs the Olympics out of anything but self-interest even though people care more about that tournament. Mainly I'm not sure if that popularity somehow changes how it should be described from the organizing perspective.
