See, I think two of those guys listed are vastly overrated, and not just because I have higher standards when it comes to judging celebrities' looks.

Whereas Landeskog and Sharp I recognize as "conventionally" good looking, even though they don't do anything for me, but I don't understand how anyone finds Seguin "objectively" attractive at all. Like, I get if one personally finds him attractive, I have favs who I think are objectively not conventionally attractive, but they're attractive to me. So I have to agree with the anon who said there's not really such thing as objectively good-looking -- or I guess, that what "objectively" good-looking is is still a subjective thing, even if it's a different thing from the phenomenon where your average-looking favs are really attractive to you.

I always thought Sharp was, like, barely above average, but his arrogance really makes me want to drop the "above."

Ha! Well... I wouldn't argue very hard with you about that.

True or not all the cheating tumors really ruined him for me.

Meh. Far as I know everyone involved has said that was a bunch of really hurtful BS, and I'm not a big fan of anyone being tried and judged forever more via rumor and social media, but I understand not being able to 'unfeel' that uneasiness/ick factor. That said, I always found the oh-so-handsome Sharpy thing more of a laugh - like yeah, with the right lighting and grooming he was more basically symmetrical & a generic 1950s chiselled features Clark Kent white boy version of handsome than many hockey players, but he was/is always way more interesting and attractive to me for what he brings on the ice and to team dynamic than for his face.

(OTT aside I know it's a typo but 'cheating tumors' has to be the best tongue-in-cheek euphemism for metastatic cancer I've seen in a while...)

Interesting. I admittedly checked out of Blackhawk Island after the PKane stuff. But I was under the impression that the inter-team stuff was written off as BS but pretty much everyone was like "well yes the stuff with whoever's (Keith?? Seabrook??) wife isn't true, but you know it's different on the road..... and with this minor Chicago celebrity (news anchor maybe??)"

It just felt like the big team blowup ended up not being true but everyone sort of tacitly admitted that he was also not super faithful either. And that is my enduring impression. And also probably why celebrities sue for libel.

Ah. Ok. Yes, I was only referring to the articles and rumors re: an affair with Keith's wife and subsequent statements - I admittedly know jack shit about anything else - but it sounds like for one reason or another we can agree that Sharp's not the top shiniest Ken doll on the hockey shelf.

I don't personally find anyone in the NHl attractive - they're all far too male for me. But Seguin looks a lot like dudes women into men seem to go for to me, which is why I'd list him as objectively attractive.
