person on tumblr: I don't like mathew barzal because of something he said
*frysquint* alright, but you write mitch marner fic? what? so it's okay to say things that are shitty if you're a fandom favorite? because there's like... actual documented proof of marner being a homophobic, sexist asshole, as opposed to "he said something once but i have no receipts".
(also if anyone DOES know what barzal said that has a few people disliking him, i want to know, if only so i can judge for myself whether or not it was actually bad or just Tumblr Bad.)
