I'm unexpectedly nostalgic about this being the last game at Joe Louis Arena. It's so rundown and dumpy and the new arena is going to be better I'm sure but I hate to see the old classic arenas go.

Pens bb goalie Jarry gets his first NHL start today! :D Also Maatta's in after missing approximately one million games for an injured hand. Sid's resting, Geno's still out.

I'm a little worried about Geno. He's been skating, said he wanted to play one of the last two games, and they didn't let him. Could just be resting him, but I'm surprised they wouldn't give him a start like Matta and Daley.

YES HE DID, TWICE. :DDDDD And the Red Wings close out their last season at the Joe and Henrik Zetterberg's 1,000th regular season game with a win!

Once I put it out there in the universe it won't happen, but the #1 reason I want the Bruins to play Ottawa is that it creates the possibility of them playing the Habs in round 2, aka "Round 2: Revenge of the Claude". That would be such a fun series.

Yes, but it's still POSSIBLE, and more likely to happen than if the Bruins had to go through the Metro.

na doesn't matter who the Bruins face I expect them to lose the series, however vs the sens they'll at least win some game.

(Not that I wish anything bad on King Karl; I sincerely hope that Marchand keeps away & Karlsson gets back to his top form)

It sucks, he was healthy for all 82 games of his rookie year and now might miss the playoffs because he got hurt in the last game :( I hope he's ok
