#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

THE RULES

I was hoping he would choose to coach for the USA, since he has dual citizenship and has never coached for one or the other before. But I understand wanting to stay away from that tire fire.

Canada played a pre-tournament friendly game against Switzerland. I haven't watched the game, so I have no idea of the lines but Simmonds & Giroux both got a goal & an assist. Simmonds' goal was a great PP tally off of a Skinner pass (& with Giroux's secondary apple). Basically, my pre-tournament threesome of Simmonds/Giroux/Skinner is alive, on PP at least :D

These were the lines they posted on twitter, I also didn't watch, so I don't know if they stuck to them. Chad Johnson and Calvin Pickard played half the game each, which hopefully means that Pickard's gear has made it.

A PP threesome is the best kind of threesome.

Apparently some of the players wore different numbers because their proper equipment hadn't arrived yet? Such professionalism.

Ayrt -They posted a picture a few days ago of Nate MacK, Matt Duchene and Calvin Pickard and said with equipment was lost (insert joke about Avs losing here).

And then they said Pickard's stuff was in Italy...

Hopefully it all gets to Paris.

I have to admit I half watched the game because I wanted to see them playing together and then when it happened on the PP, I was really happy. :D I guess I'm easy to satisfy!

Up next maybe we can get a Giroux and a Skinner goal, too. :)
