#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

They're probably actually the same height. I've seen a lot of people say Jeff's one or two inches shorter than his official height, lol. But still, what a mental image (and it evens out anyway if they both lied!).

(And as an aside, officially he is the same height but 10 pounds heavier than Giroux, too, which I did not expect!)

Total tangent, but I just realized recently that Hilary Knight is the same height as Giroux and only ten pounds or so lighter, and that was suddenly a very appealing image.

Barrie is definitely shorter than his roster height too tbh, so I wouldn't be surprised if Skinner was actually taller. Barrie is just a smidge above Marchand territory.

Everyone always with the lies, it's so silly, lol. What is even so bad about being 1 inch shorter?

Well in Barrie's case, the Avs can't even tweet about him without random fans calling him a smurf or saying he's too small to play defense. They did #TysonTuesday yesterday and it was kind of rough. It's a thing with him.
