#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

This is the twenty-ninth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Hockey tumblr's collective growing thirst over Nolan Patrick is, quite frankly, hilarious. I installed tag viewer just to read the tags on certain gifsets and it is a 10/10 experience, would recommend.

I wish I could blacklist the Hischier thirst. Nothing against him, except that he looks exactly like my baby cousin :/

I'm too old to thirst for prospects. Like their play, yes, but all of 'em look like little kids to me.

You know you're too old for 2010s draft class stuff when you look at Peter Laviolette and think that, well, he's kinda hot.

Without looking it up, I'd guess I'm closer to laviolette's age than to the kids, and I would still half expect him to yell at me to stay off his lawn.

I'm too old to find him actually attractive but I still recognize that he's probably prettier (not hotter, not more handsome, but prettier) than like 99% of the NHL. I remember when I first saw what he looked like last year and thought "oh man hockey Tumblr is going to looove him".

He's certainly pretty in a bright eyes rosy cheeks kind of way, and have nice shoulders I think. I hope the media hype the "Nolan or Nico for first overall" narrative enough to spark fics and content. We're at the slow-mo gif of them looking at each other stade of shipping, so that's promising
