From: (Anonymous)Yeah, I don't think safe spaces on the Internet are possible or even desirable. Tools to help control your own experience, like tags, are great sure, but no one is guaranteed a safe experience and you can't expect one or think you can create one. And IA that never talking about Kane will be impossible if he's playing, and possibly even if he's not, because presumably there will be more news when it's announced whether charges are being pressed or not.
People could say that they're not going to write fic for him, but that's pretty much all it would mean, and as the person who brought it up in the first place, that's not a perfect system either. People could feel pressured to sign, for example, or sign and change their minds when hockey fandom starts to put this all out of mind.
