Re: What's going on with your Team?

If we're thinking of the same player, I know, sure hope so, but most of all I hope he doesn't rush his recovery!

Re: What's going on with your Team?

I hope it's not rushed, too! But they seem to be pretty good so far this year about not rushing players back - he's been skating for a few days now but they didn't put him in yesterday, for example.

sa So I think this time, if he does play tomorrow, I won't automatically assume he's rushing back before he should.

Yeah, you're absolutely right re: them seeming to be good about that so far this year. Thanks for calming the worries a bit, anon.

(ayrt So far this year they're sticking to their claimed approach of patience, so being cautious about injuries fits in with that. It's a nice change, and I hope it sticks.)

ayrt: me, too!

ayrt: If we've been talking about the same guy, he's back tonight! But, um, another key guy's sick...

At this point I feel like we must be and everything I've read so far makes me happy and relieved! Aaand of course, this seems just like the team's luck this season, though if I understood correctly, at least he's not out tonight?

Re: What's going on with your Team?

Yes, I'm sure we are! I don't know if he was supposed to play tonight, but he'll be sitting backup and they just said "under the weather" this morning, so yeah, it doesn't seem serious. Fortunately.

Re: What's going on with your Team?

From: (Anonymous)
Heh, the "under the weather" bit confirmed it, I think, and thank fuck it doesn't sound serious. So many bad things so early on already, they sure deserve a break on bad stuff happening!

Also hoping for a win tonight sooo bad! They sure could need one!!

(Won't be able to watch live since the game starts at 3am local time and I gotta be at work 12pm...)

It's definitely time for a break on bad stuff, and also a win! Getting the one guy back tonight should help with those. Hopefully tonight... (And it sounds like the guy who got sent home early isn't seriously hurt and shouldn't miss too much time.)

(Good night!)

Fingers crossed, please win (and thank the hockey gods for that!) (Curses late games on weekday-nights she has to work late the other day, too) (hope you will have a fun night watching the game if you have a chance to, dear anon)

(Seriously, a huge relief!) (And I will be watching and crossing fingers for both of us!)
