#23 — Brown Goes Down

This is the twenty-third post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

I spent a few paragraphs convinced this article about Connor McDavid was some kind of parody, because he voices actual opinions about the draft lottery process, and they are not kind ones.

The Hurricanes just released this video with the team talking about their experiences over the season and how theyère looking forward to the future. Also a lot of talk about how important veteran experience is for rookies.

This quote from an article about Alex Pietrangelo's ice time (and apparent inability to shut up when he's off the ice) gives me life:

This is already about a week old now, but I'm always thrilled when we have German media covering "Eishockey" and now with Draisaitl on the German team they finally do a bit of that. :D

I'm not sure whether this has already made rounds, so sorry if everyone's already seen this, lol. I've only started watching though, but I can summarise it sometime later, maybe tomorrow if anyone wants that.

It only took them 1 minute to give him the Kühnhackl treatment and ask after his father lol! (The question was "who's your idol?" and he said Datsyuk (also his fave player) and the host asked "not your father?? I thought you were gonna say your father!!") Now they can commiserate, lol.

My favorite story may be that he likes wrestling so much that he sneak-attacks teammates at random opportunities, including right after they open their doors to him. Or that he bought one of those white murder vans I assume used, probably off craigslist, and had to take the disco ball and fog machine out so there would be room for all his camping shit. Idk, there are lots of options. He's definitely an interesting guy.

This was a great article in general. It talked about not only the difficulties of her own career, being a hockey spouse, and the changes in attitudes that need to happen.
