It seems like you really want an interview/tour/practice drop-in visit along the lines of a RL corporate job interview to happen (which would have made this question a lot easier to deal with if you'd insisted on that to begin with). In which case, an interview or tour type thing is very much a possibility, assuming the player doesn't have his rights held by any other club or has been given permission to talk to other clubs. But the practice drop-in or scrimmage or other participation in club activities is something I've never once heard of happening before an agreement of some kind has been signed, and then once it's been signed, I've never heard of it being anything but a full-on "you're a part of this team until we cut/waive/release/send you down" type of thing.

Rumors are Minnesota is willing to trade their pick. Which considering we have no seconds, no thirds, no fifths, and no sixths, seems like an INCREDIBLY FUCKING BAD IDEA. Have they seen how incredibly fucking bad Iowa is?

Ugh. I don't even blame GMCF for this. I blame Leipold for being a shitty, pressuring owner who wants to win now and doesn't understand how to build teams.

My team is in the unusual position of not having an obvious pick, so I'm getting unreasonably possessive of literally every prospect. Then getting upset @myself for noticing when they're cute because they're (barely not) jailbait.

I just checked the temp to see if they were getting the heat wave, it looks like today's high in San Jose was only 87.

...though I guess it's all relative. I'm only saying 'only' because today's high for me was 111.
