Connor's not too uncommon. There aren't a million of them in the league, but he's not the only one by a long shot.

Did you skip half the words? It was stop calling him that or include context.

I didn't skip any words. Did you hallucinate some? The only mention of context was by the people who responded, because they all found it hard to imagine a context in which it wouldn't be clear if someone was talking about Matt Murray or Jake Muzzin.

So you did read it. You're just choosing not count it, because you don't believe such a context exists. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Using a shrug emoticon does not free you from the responsibility of making any sense, nonny.

Now you really are skipping half the words. OP's complaint didn't mention context at all (as you claimed it did when you made the jab about skipping words). Other anons in the thread discussed the kink meme as possibly such a context, which you should know, having replied to a comment where that was happening. And regardless of all that, even if people confusing Murray and Muzzin is a super common thing, the original complaint is still entitled and whiny! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Using insults doesn't keep words from meaning things either, nonny. I don't know why people on this meme feel the need to nitpick every fandom vent or exaggerate what was said, especially one like this where the OP clarified their meaning. But I do know it's tedious to read.

Someone else mentioned that NHLers never enunciate, so they're probably ok just mumbling a vague "Br-d-n" sounding noise and that covers everyone from Holtby to Schenn to Dubinsky to Shanahan.

Just saw on r/hockey that the Hockey's Future website is being shut down. I use that site so much for research on how players who aren't first rounders were thought of when they were first drafted for fic purposes or for evaluating trades among prospects who are still in the AHL. Or even just comparing prospect depth among teams. This sucks.

Oh, right, I figured out the one for my team - it's Devan.

Straight down through the ECHL! Clearly our old GM had an aversion. Now that I think about, we just drafted one, so we should be good.

I'm sure something will replace it, though it probably won't be quite as good. None of the new salary cap sites are, anyway.

I was going to say the Stars had Jasons and Patricks instead, but the TStars have a Brennan, a Brenden AND a Branden.

I probably wouldn't have read this if it hadn't been posted about here but I really enjoyed it! There was a little too much exposition but I'm guilty of that when I write too.

The obsession with picking apart every fandom vent to the point where it seems like certain nonnies are trying to either make the original non take it back or "prove them wrong" is getting really old. This thread is basically for people to yell into the void about something that annoys them, and you're not going to get points for explaining to them why they shouldn't be annoyed. It doesn't work like that.

I went and found our very first Fandom Venting thread, and the very first subthread features a bunch of people arguing with the OP.
