I like Finn/Poe in theory, but I poked at the tag on AO3 for the first time a few weeks ago, and I don't think I finished a single fic. It was all just so goddamn boring that it couldn't hold my interest at all.

One thing I am grateful to the eyebrow bracket for is alerting me to how pretty Marco Scandella is. Am I voting for him because I like his eyebrows, or do I simply like his face? Who knows! Certainly not me!

What this showed me is that I don't like eyebrows that quit halfway through and feather out on the outer part. I need a solid stroke throughout.

It's not like that comes out of thin air though. Jordie is Jamie's brother and they used to live in the same building so... Plus, Jason Demers clearly hangs out with them. I mean, they had a group halloween costume and everything.

Mostly people I follow. A couple of their big-name fans are unbelievably smug, and they seem to be the analytics crowd's "But how can you not root for them!" team this year. All that plus Toronto fans losing their minds over James Reimer is making my contrary side kick in.

Prompt fest sounds great! I think an exchange would be too limited since that requires matching people's specific wants. I think all pairings should be fine so long as they're not Tyler/Jamie--so crossteam pairs including one of them are okay.

you know watching the sharks reminded me how much i liked the brief period of Hertl/Thornton I'd like to fic of them again or just Thronton with other sharks

Funnily enough, I have the opposite problem - all of the Sharks fans I follow are really doom-and-gloom about them whenever things go the slightest bit wrong, and it makes me wonder if they just really like wallowing in misery when they really don't have much to be miserable about. But then the Blues people I follow are more on the persecuted/"woe is me, everyone hates us, the refs are especially against us, it's so hard" side, so it's a wash.

I sort of feel like both the Sharks and Blues fans somehow expect both teams to lose this series and the Kings/Hawks to magically reappear and go to the Final.
