I feel like both the Sharks and the Blues have a couple players who aren't doing their best right now, but I still hate it when the announcers bag on them.

ayrt Maybe a new baby and injury. Either way it's frustrating right now. I'm sure I'll be more reasonable once the series end.

Yeah, having a newborn baby is probably a big factor, too. It has to be pretty stressful to have your kid born one day and then go play a game that night, and then fly to another state and get very little time at home those first few days. They've been putting the whole team up in a hotel for home games, too, so I'm not sure if they're getting to see their families much on non-game days, either.

I'm already having an existential crisis about my team having to play one of the teams in the West in the SCF if they win. I like both of them, both are cupless and sad (my usual prerequisite for rooting) and I can see both beating my team. Knock all of the wood but if they do make it my inner turmoil will be real!!

I hope Spaling's OK. He got hit hard quite a few times, and at least for one of them he was curled up on the ice for a while.
