It's hard to find a match for Seth Jones in Columbus without me breaking a pairing. The only other new person is Saad and I just can't ship them. Not that big fan of poly.

Elias Lindholm!

It started with me wanting Elias Lindholm/Jeff Skinner (which I still do. a lot), but by now I've become so desperate I'd take pretty much anything, lol. I've been slogging my way through writing something myself but a) I'm not a great writer and b) it's very slow going because see a).

I would like some or any Erik Karlsson fic.

He's pretty shippable with his D Partner Marc Methot - they flirt and joke on Twitter a lot, including the time Karlsson complimented Methot on his speedo or the time he suggested they have a pregame cuddle in bed. When Methot signed his contract extension with the Sens, he said that Karlsson played a huge part in convincing him to stay.

There's also a good mentor/mentee setup with Alfredsson and him, whether you like that for story/character purposes or if you want to take it in another direction. The whole saga of Alfredsson leaving and Karlsson becoming captain has good potential for a story backdrop for conflict and growth. And the entire Sochi Olympics was basically a feel good reunion tour for the two (with bonus snarking on Lundqvist not being able to ride a bike).

And for random interteam ships, there is that adorable Karlsson/Green hug during a fight gif. I also enjoyed the "handsome defensemen with good hair" pairing of Karlsson/Letang that meme joked about awhile back.

Paul Martin! Jumping on the Sharks bandwagon when my team didn't make the playoffs reminded me how much I liked him so I've been going through his tag on AO3.

Maybe it doesn't fit this thread because there is abut 3 pages of fic for him, but he's either been paired with James Neal, human disaster, or Beau Bennett or Ben Smith in which case it's a big age difference thing. I'd just like to read some fic about Paul getting together with someone closer to his own age. I'd also love to read something where the potential boyfriend is as competent at life as Paul is. I like caretaker!Paul, but it'd be nice to have someone else take care of him for a change--or nobody need taking care of at all, that'd be cool.

We need more Colin Wilson for sure. He had a fantastic playoffs and he's very, very pretty and kind of an adorable teammate from what I can tell of his internet presence.

I'd love to see more Patric Hornqvist for all the obvious reasons.

Stars players that aren't Seguin or JaBenn. I don't even dislike those guys exactly but there's just so many other players that need some loving.

Antoine Roussel is a total sweetie off the ice, and Jason Demers is funny and both are flirty and cute. Mattias Janmark and Radek Faksa are adorable and begging to be debauched. Johnny Oduya is unbelievably handsome and ripped and should totally mentor our young D (with his D...lol). Stephen Johns and Val Nichushkin are big and young and need to get it. Kris Russell is tiny and adorable and needs to top every guy over 6 feet. And John Klingberg is simply everything. <3

I know Jason Spezza is too much of a dad to most people but when I see gifs on tumbler I keep getting caught up in how very blue his pretty eyes are, and also his ridiculous giggle is stupidly endearing.

And Ales Hemsky too! He needs love and debauchery just for surviving years in Edmonton. :D

I still miss Kevin and all his potential. I hope they are treating him right in Calgary.

More fic about the WBS kids. I don't have particular ships for them, but I'd be an easy sell on anything. I just want more about them all coming up together and being involved in this big exciting thing right off the bat in their NHL career.

Olli Maatta. I'm not picky about what fic, but I just find him delightful. He does seem to be hanging out with Sid a bit, like the other night http://m.imgur.com/I6Wu4HA but I'd be happy to read about him with various Pens/former Knights/fellow Finns.

Justin Schultz being just so happy all the time about life since he got traded to the Pens makes me want fic where his enthusiasm is confused with hitting on his teammates, to wacky and/or sexy outcomes.

This isn't so much about the specific players as the scenario, but the Edmonton situation kind of fascinates me in an idfic way. It's a bunch of young, super high-ceiling players without much development or veteran leadership, much less a consistent coaching presence, kind of left to their own devices. You could take that in so many directions, serious or with bonus angsty tentacles or whatever.

Or like I came across McLellen "trying to create 'chemistry' pretty much the whole season." The comment was about line combos, but again, you could take that a lot of places. What lengths is the org going to turn their hot mess of dysfunction into a team?

I wish Zach Werenski's little big brother was also a public figure so I could do something with how many pictures of drunk Dylan Larkin there are on his instagram. Something dubious.
