"It's interesting how both Pens and Lightning have post-game best player traditions."

I haven't watched it. How are their traditions different from most teams?

Re: All Access - Quest for the Stanley Cup

Not necessarily different than others, it's a wearable item like most I've heard of - a camo vest for the Bolts and a viking helmet for the Pens. It's just that they didn't show anything like that for the either of the West teams. (Doesn't mean they don't have them, but I haven't heard about them having their own traditions either.)

The Blues used to have a hot dog hat that they made the winner wear while doing their post game interview. They might still have it around and hand it out, but I haven't seen it in an interview for awhile.

Also, here's Polak in it back when he was a Blue, lol: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/a4/d8/7c/a4d87caa4ef84533f6ead52dc4f29c80.jpg

ayrt

Wow, that is... something.

Here's Backes with the appropriately mortified face anyone caught wearing it should have: http://1.cdn.nhle.com/blues/images/upload/2012/01/weenie_hat_backes.jpg

If you go to about 2:15 in this video you will see what the Stars do, though the whole video is pretty good.

Does anyone know if the Warrior Sword is still in play?

Re: All Access - Quest for the Stanley Cup

From: (Anonymous)
Nope. That was like five years and literally an entire roster ago (Benn and Lehtonen are the only ones who are still around from that team).

"Nice goal, Faks" - Radek Faksa. Ugh, I love him so much.

One of the New York teams has a broadway fedora thing, iirc.

Re: All Access - Quest for the Stanley Cup

Must be the Rangers. The Islanders have a retro leather jacket and used to have a hard hat.

DA

I know the Rangers call theirs the Broadway hat, anyhow, because I've seen it mentioned in fic. But I have no idea if it's a fedora or not.

It looks like a fedora, which is why I remember it.

I think the Broadway hat has a Twitter too.

*Checks Twitter.*

Apparently it has more than one Twitter.

They're not. AYRT is either very new to hockey or doesn't pay much attention to teams/media other than her own.
