I'm looking for info (articles/TV/whatever) on what it's like to be drafted, specifically for the first-round prospects who are at the draft. I've found some mic'd-up clips from the management side, but I have no idea what it's actually like for the prospects, beyond the "go up on stage, shake hands, put on jersey, smile for photos" obligatory song-and-dance that happens when your name is called. I'd really appreciate anything you've got, because I'm kind of scratching my head here.

I can't find the links anymore but there was some gossip a while back that suggests that the draft is, like the ASG or basically any other time hockey players meet up, a giant alcohol-fueled prank opportunity and/or fuckfest, only sadder in the sense that it's a bunch of nervous clueless teenagers trying and often failing to make it happen.
