From: (Anonymous)Yeah, I know rationally that it's a necessary move since we don't have the cap room and so many guys have contracts up this off season. And it's better to trade him this off season instead of waiting for him to hit UFA, but I'm still going to be totally heartbroken when the inevitable happens. :(
Having Parayko around does soften the blow a bit because I really love that kid. And on the bright side, we've also got really great prospects in Schmaltz and Vannelli, and even some up-and-coming LHD with Dunn and Lindbohm.
I just wish we could keep everyone forever. Sigh.

From: (Anonymous)Oh man, I feel you there. Although I still get sad when I think about Oshie sometimes, even though I think the trade worked out really well for both teams. And I really like Brouwer! And Oshie's doing really well with the Caps! But I still really miss him. :'(
(Honestly, if Shatty gets traded I will probably be doing my best Libby Lu impression because I have a lot of emotions and absolutely zero dignity.)
