Even if there are special incubi docs, imagine trying to explain this to a partner. Maybe Domi thinks he's doomed to picking up, because what person would want their sex life so tightly regulated that even their kisses require monitoring.

And meanwhile Duke is all getting off on the thought of "okay, so you're going to be telling me EXACTLY when/where/how much/what kind of touching you want". He pretty much goes into this *expecting* a certain amount of orgasm delay/denial/sex fail at times, and he's okay with that so long as it doesn't actually endanger either of them because he's that far gone. (He totally makes Max tell him what minimum safe distance is to jack off without Max picking up on it at some point, though.)

I don't want falling in love to *fix* Max's diabetes, but I'd be fine with familiarity and mutual feelings making it a lot easier to gauge how much intimate contact works for both of them down the line. Like he's always going to have to be careful, sure, but he knows the limits better than he ever has.
