Poor kid. Honestly it's not been a great year for recently moved ex-Pens - Despres also spent significant time concussed, and Sutter's season ended early with hernia surgery, I think.

I know, teams will really have to reconsider trading with Pens, guys take the injury curse with them. Especially concerned about Depres. Perron missed some time with Ducks too.

Good work nonny! Wasn't Scott called up by Pens around the time they announced Olli need thyroid surgery for his tumor and never actually dressed, leading to speculation that Pens had partly called him up for support?

Yes!! He was called up and sent down three times without playing his first NHL game, including a call-up right before Olli's thyroid surgery. Later in the year he was in Pittsburgh when Olli had the mumps, and he was also called up right after Olli's shoulder surgery (what a year for poor Olli.)

Everything he's been through, I was shocked to see that even with the (ex)WBS kids on the team, Olli is still the youngest Pen.

Also, I was just looking for something else & found an article on Pens official site from 2012 about Olli and Scott, titled (seriously) A Special Bond http://penguins.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=643698
