#24 – Not Sure If Serious or Playing Dumba

THE RULES

Then it's not your ~academic mind, it's you. Maybe you're a historian and fair play, I'm picky about representations of the period that I specialize in. But I agree with the anon below who says that saying you're too "academically minded" for something sounds really snotty...and not right, especially because it's exactly the kind of thing a lot of academics in a lot of different disciplines are actually really interested in.

I am a historian, actually (well, one in training, I don't have my Ph.D yet). But I also explained myself more in a different post.
