#24 – Not Sure If Serious or Playing Dumba

It is not good. Oksana is Geno's yenta in bisexuality, Geno's dialogue sounds nothing like rl him, Sid is V Afraid Closeted Gay, Troy Crosby is semi-villainous homophobe dad, none of the porn is hot and there's penetrative sex angst.*

I hate penetrative sex angst. It always seems to be making a statement on how not doing it is okay. But we already knew that? And why can't the other partner just bottom anyway? Why do I have to read thigh fucking? Just why?

Aww, I like reading thigh-fucking, but I'd agree that it is annoying if it's done as some kind of "penetrative sex angst" which I assume can be done well but it usually does involve the assumption that only one of them can ever bottom and the other partner never suggests they just switch or whatever, soooo no. That is not done well. It always makes me feel like I'm back reading yaoi manga.

I think we have very different definitions of yenta, going by that phone call. Geno's dialogue doesn't throw me out of the story, but it might for you.

I don't see Sid being afraid, just closeted?

The other two definitely happened, but it's tropey stuff anyway.
