#24 – Not Sure If Serious or Playing Dumba

Players who get re-drafted at 20 -- that is, CHL players who were drafted once at 18, but their teams didn't sign them and they went back into the draft at 20. When they get re-drafted, how long do their new teams have to sign them? Does the clock start over at two years or is there a shortened window?

Should be the usual two years. If you need it to be shorter for fic purposes, that two year window requires the team to make an offer within the first year in order to extend it to the second year, so you could have the team decline/forget to do that.
