#26 — Vanek! with a Jurco

This is the twenty-sixth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

It's really incredible what a smile does for him. When they're serious he and Auston Matthews could have a murder-face contest. But Auston's smile doesn't transform his face nearly as much.

-Tyler moved to a new house recently (this one is probably true because why lie about it?)

I enjoy all the gossip tidbits, but because I have a bizarre interest in celebrity real estate, this one piqued my curiosity. If Tyler did move to a new house, he didn't sell his old one. He is still listed as the owner on the County Assessor's records (for 2017).

The fact that his address is quickly and easily obtainable via google (although, that's not unique to Seguin--some members of my team are listed in our local phone book, and higher profile ones are easily found, also--for which my weird itch to know about houses I can't ever afford is grateful) might be a reason he would want people to think he moved.

Also, if he bought another property, he didn't do it under his own name (as he did with Modano's old house). He is not listed as owning any other property in the Dallas area, residential or commercial (of course, he could have always created an LLC or trust or something).

Parayko is so huge. I always forget how big he is and then I see a picture and go "!!!".

He's also so cute! I love that expression too. What a dork.

He really is! I love his dorky smile when paired with his size. Especially since he's usually pretty low-key when he scores, but then when a teammate scores he just lights up. I find it so endearing.

(I can already tell that these games are not going to be good for my need to ship Big Guy/Little Guy, either. So much potential...)

That picture is so cute. I know it. I kind of feel sad that he moved out, but it's probably for the best.

I have fucking no idea.

I wandered off to go look at their World Juniors games (and watch tape) and how could we forget they were on the 2012 Gold Medal team? (Lol, hilariously, Jamie Oleksiak got was on the Bronze Canada team at the time. I did forget that) We can't! (Nemeth had the assist on the winning goal).

They fit so well, and why does no one see that?

Honestly this is all rumor based off of girls who he's added on snapchat who have seen him post snaps of signed papers and post things like "move in day" and "new house". So I don't know if they're (there's more than one) lying, confused, or if he's doing this as some kind of business venture. It just seems like something really benign to lie about.

His friend Freddy Bender has a real estate and relocation services business that Tyler has been involved in in the past, Propel Real Estate.

So I don't know that it's true necessarily, I just kind of assumed it was because it seemed so stupid to make it up.

(Part of the reason why I always use real family member/SO names is because I spend way too much time coming up with names for people with only passing significance in my fic otherwise.)

I'm mainly rooting for a Team NA victory because it might shut up the Murray haters and remind Pittsburgh that it might not be such a good idea to trade Murray in order to keep Fleury.

It's amazing how over the summer the narrative somehow seems to have become that the Cup win was a fluke/had nothing to do with Murray/would have happened anyway, a 22 yr. old goalie apparently has no room for improvement, and really, Fleury is such a nice guy, how can you even think of trading him...

Pensland must be a strange place because everywhere I've been is pretty much saying the only logical move is to move Fleury (at the TDL) because Murray's the goalie of the future, and the expansion draft is too dicey to risk LV taking him.
