I always feel a bit mean saying it, but I still hope the Habs trade Galchenyuk. Or you know, fire the terrible duo, but sadly that seems less realistic...

I also want this, so.

Well, what I want is for the team to keep Price and Galchenyuk and jettison Therrien and Bergevin, but that's not going to happen, so I want Chucky and Price to leave town instead.

Honestly the only one which occurred to me was that I want the Bruins to make a successful trade which works out well for them. Preferably for a defenseman, but if they win at least one trade this season I'll be happy. Expectations have never been lower lmao.

I also hope Taylor Hall tears it up in NJ.

Ohh, I agree about Taylor Hall. I don't even like the dude, but that trade was such a mess that I want the Oilers to stew in their regret.

I would like the hockey media to forget about us again so I don't have to keep seeing really insulting articles like it's 1998.

I would also like someone to take Subban on a tour of the non-embarrassing parts of the city.

Yeah I'm excited for PK but I'm already tired of all the "THIS will get people in Nashville excited" stuff as if it's still early Trotz-era Preds and there's no exciting players already on the team.

But I guess it's not everyone, some of the writers do have more nuance with how they talk about his stardom.

I want the Devils to not be in dead last in goals for. The unrealistic dream is the in the top half, but I understand that even with Hall and our younger guys ( Boucher, Blandisi, Zacha etc) coming into their own, that's not happening.

I'd also like to see an NHL player come out, with a positive reception league-wide.

I want my team to fail badly and missed the playoff once again. Just because I hate the owners and their freaking culture. Force them to actually realize that their window is close/closing and they need to change.

On other hand, I want to see them succeed and show everyone that they can still make the playoff.

I want one of the player traded because keeping him 6+ years isn't a good idea and he might be the best bargain chip they have to improve their D.

Hi ESL Bruins nonny.

They shouldn't trade Marchand. That would slam the window shut IMO.

I don't think continuously missing the playoffs and wasting Bergeron/Marchand would make the culture change. The only way that happens is if Cam Neely leaves.

I would like to watch my tram with minimal stress of injury or heartbreak for at least the whole regular season

1) Quick is not a hot mess in goal the way he was in the playoffs and at the end of the season, and that the coaching staff decides against playing him 65+ games in the regular season

2) Dustin Brown has a rebound season where he at least does okay

3) Toffoli and Pearson get reasonable contracts

4) Gravel and maybe Mersch and Forbort get actual, legitimate shots at playing this year and that Sutter doesn't fall back into "let's blame the rookies for everything" mode

5) Brown or Gaborik get traded

6) Michael Latta decides to become best bros with someone who is not Drew Doughty

7) this one is kind of a longshot, but whatever - Anze Kopitar finishes top 10 in points

This season:

PK and Josi being the prettiest d-pair in the NHL on and off the ice, preferably ending with champagne and gaudy rings for everybody and lots of eye candy/entertaining interviews along the way.

At least a respectable year for Columbus.

Biz in a Vegas uniform, if that counts as a "this year's". (If not, another Calder Cup would be nice.)

Nobody getting arrested or fucking up on social media (never going to happen, but it *would* make me happy.)

For this goalie situation to get resolved in a way that doesn't unduly piss off the involved or adjacent players, screw up our future, or break my heart any more than it has to.

For Geno to have a freaking awesome year and be in the running for the Art Ross.

If I can't wish for the Pens to repeat again, then I just want everyone to be healthy. And Geno to have a great year, and Pou to get a chance. And for Flower to maintain his regular season form all the way to playoffs.

For other teams, I'd like the Stars to get a goalie, I really do like them.

1. Nicklas Backtrom to win the Hart or the Conn-Smythe, or both. I want him to finally get something shiny for all his hard work.

2. Alex Ovechkin to keep breaking records and to not get injured.

3. Something really nice for Mike Richards. IDK what since it's not going to be a spot on the Caps(my first wish), but something that makes him happy.

4. Lars Eller to fit seemlessly into the Caps roster and find his mojo (or MoJo) and be a happy productive scoring machine.

5. My pipe dream is for Tom Wilson to redeem himself in the eyes of...well, everyone. But I know that's not going to happen, so maybe I can just hope for him to score more points and get fewer penalties.

6. Lots of butt smacks, kisses, and hugs for TJ Oshie. And many, many points.

All my hopes and dreams are dead since they re-hired Carlyle.

My expectations are so low I'll be happy if no one is catastrophically injured. I can't even begin to think about them making the playoffs. Maybe I can hope Perry will be less dirty so I feel better about liking him so much, but. Carlyle.

I want the team I hate the most to finish dead last in the standings and lose all three draft lotteries.
