#29 – Lay, Lie, or Laine?

This is the twenty-ninth post of Deke Dangle RPF Anon, a community for all your ice hockey anon meme needs.

THE RULES

Speaking of cute, one of the NJ animal shelters had henrique and cory schneider holding kittens for a promo.

the shelter in question apparently names at least some of their animals after hockey players. cat-wise: they have a cammalleri, had a gordie howe who's not on their site any more so hopefully he got adopted, a jacque plant, and a tim horton. on the dog side i didn't bother looking too hard but i bet i'd like their bobby hull who is a cute/friendly pit mix a whole lot more than the shithead he's named for. their gretzky is another pit mix who looks like a sweetie, as is their bobby clarke.

(also, i don't know how they managed to pull this optical illusion off, but jasmine looks almost as big as nazem kadri in this pic and i HAD to laugh/share.)

Sam Reinhart apparently found time to crank out a degree from USC. Is it just me or have a lot of younger guys been finishing their degrees even after going pro?

I'm sorry, but I'm confused to how this is possible. Most players who finish their degrees later at least start by attending school in person and then finish with online classes, but this usually ends up taking them longer than a normal degree because they only have so much time. He's only 21 now, could he really have done an online only degree+hockey and graduate so quickly? Torey Krug did 3 full years at MSU and only just graduated at age 26.

Even if the past week alone, I have noticed that too (maybe just because it is graduation season...but off the top of my head, I think Parayko and Krug got their degrees too)

on another note, Nolan Patrick's small little tattoos on his arms are weirdly cute. he has a bouquet of flowers!

This tattoo artist just showed up on Ink Master. Called himself Daddy, as in, "It's alright, let Daddy help," within the first five minutes of screen time. I ship it now, just a tiny bit.

So Olli Maatta really enjoyed his second cup parade, and he looked damn fine doing it. He also apparently didn't burn to a crisp, so good for him. Pensburgh has a nice rundown of photos and such. Also, if you had any inclination to ship him with Schultz, boy was Twitter here for you.
