Injury report is out for the Sharks. Lots of broken bones. Donskoi had a separated shoulder, which is just great.

Jumbo was playing with a torn ACL and MCL, which is just great. Someone on the Sharks subreddit was speculating that that might be it for him, since ACL recovery takes a hell of a long time, he's a UFA right now, and he's just really fucking old, but that's too fucking depressing for me to believe right now. It'd be tough to see either him or Patty leave San Jose after so long, but it's really feeling unlikely that we keep both of them.

Patrice Bergeron apparently played all year with a sports hernia and will look into surgery to fix it now that the season's over. He definitely didn't put up as many points as usual (and missed a few games at the beginning of the season) but he played like Patrice Bergeron on defense, played top line minutes every night, didn't miss many practices, etc. I hope the Bruins are smart enough to not let their franchise player do anything that would put the rest of career in jeopardy, but this is the dude who played a whole game with a punctured lung. I'm a little worried. Jesus, Patrice.

@NanooksHockey: Congrats to former Captain Colton Parayko on a great season w/ the @StLouisBlues & also graduating magna cum laude from UAF yesterday!

According to this Tweet, Colton Parayko was eliminated from the playoffs a day after he graduated with honors. Talk about bittersweet.

Looking forward to seeing him play in the WCs though. Seems like a positive sign wrt his contract status at least. I'm not sure I can take another summer of waiting like the one with Petro's extension.

So what's the record for number of players concussed in one playoff run? Pens are up to four, assuming that's Rust's injury, which they've been mum about. Others have been Crosby, Sheary, and now Ruhwedel. This is not to mention Letang, Schultz, and Hornqvist, who are also currently too injured for playoff hockey.
